Episode 126 – Tuesday, January 31st, 2017 (7336)
Last episode, I was talking about the 20 memorable places that I lived and visited in the last 20 years. Well, that’s 20 years from 1997 to 2016. But it’s already 2017, and I had not traveled in far places since the last time I did almost two years ago. Not until just last Friday, I and my officemates went to Baguio City. Also called the Summer Capital of the Philippines, it is the largest city in the Benguet Province and in the Cordilleras, and it has the altitude of 5,000 feet above sea level – the highest that I ever traveled in the Philippines. This was my first time to visit that city in my entire life, and this is now the northernmost city that I traveled and visited in the Philippines. Although I’m still tired and little bit sleepy that we just arrived from there last Sunday, I’ll discuss my adventures in Baguio in this episode. Continue reading “My Adventure in Baguio”
Episode 125 – Thursday, January 26th, 2017 (7331)
I’m so excited tomorrow because I and my work colleagues will go to Baguio for our adventure trip where we will stay there with cold weather for three days. This will be my first time ever to go there which is also one of my dream places to visit. That will be nice, and I’ll share my adventure with my colleagues in the future episodes.
Ooops… before our Baguio trip within this weekend, I had visited several places, not just only in the Philippines, but also in abroad. I have an episode that I wrote last year about my experience in travel where I went several places (read Episode 98). I love travel places anywhere either with companion or solo. But in this episode and because it’s throwback Thursday, I just want to share the 20 most memorable places that I ever visited in the past 20 years. Now, I choose only 20 places that I had visited and lived for quite sometimes since I’m talking about 20 years in my life (that’s not my real age, by the way, and it’s not my birthday either). I don’t select which one will be the no. 1 or becoming most memorable places in all, but I pick up 20 out of many places that I had ever landed based on my criteria: Continue reading “My 20 Most Memorable Places in the Past 20 Years”
Episode 124 – Tuesday, January 24th, 2017 (7329)
In the past few days, I had not been so happy because of sickness that bothers me. I had flu, fever, and sometimes headaches that I was not so comfortable especially at work. I know it’s because a “cold season” that we’ve experienced right now due of northeast monsoon (or what we called locally as Amihan). And this airborne sickness can carry from one person to another that’s why I was affected this kind of “virus” because of my (jobless) elder brother who was ill a week ago. Thanks to the connection of our bedrooms that’s why I became ill because of him, and that’s why I used a half roll of tissues per day to sneeze my freaking running nose! Damned it! Hehehe!
Anyways, it has been 19 months that I’m still single and loveless, and I still don’t know what I shall do right now. It’s whether if I continue searching for “one true love” (OTL) as fast as possible or staying single and loveless. For most of the times, I sometimes have a panic to search for a nice lady to be my next dream girlfriend because… you know family matters. However, my love feelings may not be worked for some reasons anyway. And because the love month of February will come within few days as well as Valentine’s Day and since I’m still single anyway, I’m still looking for a nice and pretty girl to be my girlfriend. Episode 122 – Tuesday, January 17th, 2017 (7322)
In the past 20 years, I’ve experienced lots of unforgettable moments that I ever had in my life. These events made me so happy, grateful, colorful, and full of love. The happiness, having a love life, and wonderful experiences were there during that period. And in this episode, I just want to share my top 20 most memorable moments around my life in the past 20 years (dating from January 1, 1997 up to December 31, 2016). Because I love to write long stories about my personal life, I just decided to divide this topic into two parts (or episodes). And there are the lists: Continue reading “My 20 Best in 20 Years (Part 1)”
Episode 121 – Thursday, January 12th, 2017 (7317)
Good day! And I hope you’ll be fine. Last Sunday, I attended Feast SM Santa Rosa (SMSR) with Bro. Dreus Cosio for the first Feast session of 2017 where he discussed the new series about The Best Year Ever. I’m pretty sure that this year will be my best year after my disastrous year of 2016 that I “choked” like Golden State Warriors, blowing 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals. Hahaha! But it was true that I “blew” my dreams last year because of the distractions. Anyway, forget the past and we proceed to the new one where we’ve now been second week of 2017. This year, it would be my fifth year to attend and to serve (for Media) at The Feast since it came into my life in 2013. But despite of being a long time attendee and servant, there are some things at The Feast that I’ve never joined ever since. Continue reading “Shall I Join…?”
Episode 120 – Tuesday, January 10th, 2017 (7315)
It has been few days passed after we changed our calendars into 2017, and most of you have already written their own planners for their daily activities in life. Some people had already bought planners for 2017 last year, and sometimes they made these into diaries – recording the events and happenings over the course of a day. Diary may be recorded secretly which includes the person’s experiences and thoughts throughout of his/her life using handwritten notes. When I was in high school or college, I was interested to buy a planner to make my own personal diary. But because I was just a student and couldn’t afford to buy it which was quite expensive, I made some of my old notebooks into my diaries. I saved my money and created a new notebook from the old one resourcefully, at least. Continue reading “Remembering My Tent Diary”
