Mediocrity, according to Merriam-Webster dictionary, is the quality of something that is not so good and a person who does not have special ability to do something well. It is also the state of being mediocre.
I don’t know why my life right now has been dull without having love life (or having a nice and lovely girlfriend). Is it because of mediocre? Is it lack of desire to look for another one that will love me forever? Continue reading “Love Life Mediocrity”→
Until now, my God, I’m still single. I have hard time to search for the “One True Love” to open my broken heart, but I’m doing nothing so far. I don’t know why, but I don’t understand why. Is this because of uncertain situations that may occur in my future? Or is this because of looking for the perfection?
In the last previous months, my boss at work suggested me to add one of his friends in Facebook who is still single and pretty. I sent my short message to her pleasing to add me on her Facebook, and she did for several days. Even though she’s somewhat older than me, I tried to have some communication with her, but obviously I didn’t. I don’t know why, but I don’t understand why I don’t pursue my “attraction” to her although I never meet her up to present. Continue reading “I Don’t Understand Why…?”→
For two and a half years working in my current job in San Pedro, Laguna, my working schedule has always been at the morning (around 10 o’clock) although there’s no time log, unlike other big companies, to check-in. Well, I’m so satisfied with the schedule which is remained unchanged since my first working day. This is the perfect time working schedule for me, considering as a convenient time (no need to wake up early or travel/commute at high noon getting sweat when arrived at the office). Almost three weeks ago, I was able to watch NBA Finals (thru internet live streaming) between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the defending champion, Golden State Warriors. It was thrilled to watch especially in Game 7 where the Cavaliers (Cavs, for short) escaped the Warriors to win its first NBA title in franchise history, and it was historical for Cavs because of their incredible comeback from 1-3 deficit to win a best-of-7 championship series (the first to do so in the NBA Finals history). I felt so happy for them because they’re not only clutching their first NBA title since entering the league in 1970 but also ending the 52-year championship drought for the city of Cleveland after NFL’s Browns won the championship in 1964. Cleveland is now no longer a sports curse city. Continue reading “Drought”→
It’s Throwback Thursday (once again). And it’s episode #77 which is now published today on the 7th day of the 7th month (July). That’s 7-7! I think today is “Lucky 7”, isn’t it? But this may not be my favorite number though (as I know this is the channel number of a “brag” station here at the Philippines), and this is not perfect in my 5-10-15-20-year chart. The number 7 is not there, but you might subtract this to two (2) will be five (5) or add three (3) into ten (10).
Oh well, exactly 20 episodes ago (or I just tell three months ago to be exact), I mentioned a 5-10-15-20-year series about my past events and happenings that I published on Episode 57 last April 7th (and yet there were two 7s on it). These were happened during the second quarter of the respective years (2016, 2011, 2006, 2001, and 1996). And as the third quarter has begun, I just want to share about my past happenings and events that occurred in 5, 10, 15 and 20 years ago. Continue reading “5-10-15-20 (for 3rd Quarter of 2016)”→
Well, it’s already July, and it has been one year of “lack” of socialization especially in exchanging text messages or short messaging service (SMS) to someone. As you know, I have no longer had any textmate like before, and I think I lose my appetite to have a potential textmate or talking/chatting to somebody who is not boring and telling a lot of stories.
Right now, as one year after the end of long distance relationship (LDR) with my former textmate from the North (I supposed to not mention her anymore because I must move on after one year of heartaches!), collecting my text messages has been declined and dull, to be honest. Unlike in the past few years where I had lots of text messages that I collected, as I expected, my SMS communication with my friends and someone has been sharply and dramatically collapsed by almost 93%.
